Using Tonecast

Tonecast helps you rewrite text, generate replies, and dictate polished text. You are responsible for reviewing anything Tonecast generates before sending, publishing, or relying on it.

Direct mode and Cloud mode

In direct BYOK mode, you provide your own AI provider keys and requests are sent from your device to that provider. In Tonecast Cloud mode, Tonecast provides managed access to AI providers and enforces account, usage, and billing limits server-side.

Subscriptions and billing

Tonecast Cloud is planned as a paid subscription. Billing is processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellations take effect at the end of the paid billing period unless otherwise stated.

Refunds

Early refunds are manually reviewed to prevent abuse. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support with the email address used for billing and the relevant invoice details.

Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or limit access if usage threatens the service, violates law, harms others, or attempts to bypass security, billing, or rate limits.

Availability

Tonecast is provided without a guaranteed uptime commitment in v1. We may change models, providers, limits, features, or pricing as the product evolves.
